North Dakota High School Course Code (MIS03): This course counts as a single semester (.5 credit) high school course. The MIS03 code assigned to it is: 23015. The North Dakota Center for Distance Education issues high school credit for this course in the form of a completion certificate upon successful completion. Students must download the completion certificate and present it to their high school to receive credit. NDCDE will automatically transcribe high school credits for its diploma students upon successful completion.

Registration Process & Requirements: Students will complete the registration form linked below. As part of this registration form, you will be prompted to download and have a school official complete a dual credit permission form, which you will upload upon completion using instructions provided by NDCDE. Students will also be required to submit transcripts to NDSU. Ask your high school counselor or a school official to send your official transcript. Your transcript should be signed by a school official and include all coursework, grades, and graduation date, if applicable.

• Where to send: High school transcripts may be mailed, sent via secure file service such as Parchment or Scoir, or emailed directly to ndsu.apply@ndsu.edu by a school counselor or official.
• Transcripts received from students will not be accepted.

Once you complete these steps, an NDSU staff member will work with you to receive access to NDSU’s email, Blackboard, purchase course materials, and provide guidance on how to pay for the course.
